Philip Gagnon 

Philip Gagnon is an attorney in the State of California. He is the principal attorney behind The DUI Guys®, a law practice focused on the zealous representation of drivers accused of driving under the influence.

Philip is a member of the National College for DUI Defense and the California DUI Lawyers Association.

Further, Philip is a qualified instructor of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFTS), certified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).  He brings this expertise to bear in assessing the standards applied by officers in DUI cases and evaluating officers’ opinions as to individual’s performance of these tests.

He is also a qualified operator of the Intoxilyzer 8000 evidentiary breath testing device used in San Diego DUI and Long Beach DUI.  He has testified as an expert witness in DMV Administrative hearings and criminal cases before the San Diego Superior Court on issues surrounding DUI investigation and Standardized Field Sobriety Test administration and evaluation.
